DJ Gio was born Giuseppe Costuna Quijano on September 30 in Olongapo City. He is the fourth child of Godofredo Quijano of Maasin, Iloilo City and Susan Costuna of Oras, Eastern Samar. He is a graduate of BS Customs Administrations at PMI Colleges in Manila.
Fondly called Bossing, Gio is the creator of Pinoy Katamberkz International based in Singapore.
Very artistic, he was president of PMI-Sining Kabataan during his college days. He has performed on stage plays, did some script writing and has likewise directed stage play presentations.
A man of many talents, Gio plays competitive badminton and volleyball. He loves to sing and dance. He is also into flower arrangements, hair cutting and painting.
His work experience ranges from being a Customs Instructor, Customs Broker at SBMA in Zambales and as Logistics Coordinator.
After four years of working in the Middle East, Gio moved to Singapore where he currently serves as Port Operations Supervisor at the Port of Singapore Authority (PSA) since August 2008.
