Edsel Avelino

Edsel Avelino, also known as DJ Red, was born in Manila but currently lives in New York. 
Edsel began singing and playing guitars in 2nd year high school, when his younger brother, Chris, let him borrow his SG Gibson guitar.  While at De La Salle University, he became a member of the famous “Kundirana”.  After college, as a member of the popular Orient Pearl band, he traveled extensively throughout the archipelago. 
A professional Physical Therapist, Edsel is also a successful businessman and owns the largest biscuit and cracker business in Cebu, The London Biscuit Factory.  With business being stable and self governing, Edsel decided to live and work in the USA as Physical Therapist. 
Despite his busy schedule, his passion and love for music remain untamed. These days, he collaborates his musical work with independent artists Dexter Panlilio, Eric Celerio, and Karl Cochran who are accomplished and well-respected in the music industry.
